Member News
Chapter
960 member Freddy Wendland recently flew his newly acquired Glasflugel
Libelle H-301-B high performance glider for the first time. The
following weekend, July 4th 2010, he took it up for a flight lasting

Who We Are
EAA chapter 960, based at Flanagan Field (N08)
in Farmville, North Carolina,
is a local chapter of the national
Experimental Aircraft Association.
Members of the local chapter, and the national organization as a whole, are
joined by one common bond, they all love aviation and airplanes. Our goal as a
local chapter is to provide a means of getting people with a common interest
together on at least a monthly basis to promote the camaraderie that people in
aviation enjoy. We welcome visitors at any of our monthly meetings and are
delighted when these visitors become members. Visitors do not have to own an
airplane or be pilots. All they have to do is enjoy aviation.
Use the links above to navigate our web site and see what our organization is
all about. There's information about our monthly meetings, details on our annual Fly-In, and
information about the exciting Young Eagles program.
We look forward to meeting you at one of our future meetings.
